The Sisters of the Heart had a great meeting this week. We had some new ladies and of course, ate and laughed, along with our sewing. When I look back at what we have accomplished over less than a year's time, it is pretty awesome.
You don't have to come on the night of meetings to participate, we can use your ideas and donated fabric and supplies. We've had several people give fabric and other items to our "stash". You would be welcome to come and join in. We are planning to go and speak to the Activities Director at the nursing home for ideas on a project we could do for the patients there. Perhaps the residents might be interested in handwork or quilting that they can get involved with.
