Prayer Requests and Praise Reports

With a small congregation like WCFC, each family may experience a range of highs and lows. But that's what makes us all a part of the Body of Christ. We are to lift each other up when we're down and celebrate when we're up.

We are all anxious to welcome Sister Deb Banta back to church to be with us as soon as she is able. There is a call on her life to spread the Gospel, and an empty space where she should be with our church family. She isn't able to be back to her normal activity and function just yet, but Deb, we love and miss you soooo much. More than you will ever know. Please continue to pray for this dear saint.

Ronnie and I want to thank the church family who got together a much-needed gift while he has been off with the shoulder surgery. It is real hard for Ronnie to accept help, probably due to pride, but he will tell you the Lord has given him a new heart, a more understanding heart. When you learn how to recieve in the name of the Lord, it makes you want to help others also.

Margi and Allan Edge had wonderful news about his disability case. He got it through without having to use a lawyer. THAT is a miracle, for sure! We are so glad to see you up and going, and we love all of your family so much. It would be nice if Jan could be at church more, but remember we miss you.

Pray for Rick and Carol as they do the Angelfood Ministries each month. It is an enormous task, and if you don't think so, just come and help out on pickup Saturdays.

We all love our Pastor and his precious family, but do you stop to really thank God for giving us this wonderful man of God? I know I am guilty of taking for granted the time of study and preparation Bro. Smith puts into each Bible Study or sermon he delivers to us. Few of us could imagine the work and sacrifice that's poured into our lives. Thank God for blessing us with a faithful, annointed, and dedicated pastor.

Ray and Melba Mann got a special 'healing blessing' for Ray. His health problem was taken care of and he didn't have to go into the hospital after all. Praise the Lord, He is good!

There are many going through hard times that I don't know about, but the Lord does. Call me if you have an announcement you'd like put into the blog.
