HIGHWAY TO HELL

There is a steady flow of traffic, constantly going one way. Going to Hell. Are you caught up in the rush of traffic? So many millions of people are, and what can slow them down? Good News!! There are some roadblocks on the highway to hell. The final destinations are only 2: Eternal Life or Eternal Destruction. Which will it be for you?

In Bible times, there was an entrance in the wall of the Temple called the Eye of the Needle. The gate is low and narrow. A person wanting to enter that way had to first take off all the baggage from the camel and have it get down on it's knees to enter in. It is the same for us as we follow Jesus into the narrow way. We must take off all our baggage and be humble and contrite, hand the reins over to God's hand to lead us through. We can never go in with a haughty, proud and willful spirit.

People try to devise other ways of getting to Heaven. The way of the world, the easy way, the way without going through Jesus Christ. Jesus told us that He is the Way and we must bow the knee to Him, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, submit to the Savior. He alone can lead us home-there simply is no other way.

What are the roadblocks?
1-The Bible will get you off the road that leads to destruction! Read it, for it gives the Words of Life!

2-The Church is a place to come to for repentance, to be in the house of the Lord where the Holy Spirit may draw men to God.

3-Godly friends will care about you, pray for you, witness to you, desire to see you avoid Hell.

4-The Cross, that Old Rugged Cross, will hinder you from slipping away and into a devil's Hell. The very picture of the Cross gives hope. The VERTICAL beam represents God coming down to be equal to man and offer a way of escape. The HORIZONTAL beam represents man reaching to man-friends loving other people and having a desire to see you saved.

5-The Holy Spirit is necessary to stop you from going on to hell. The Spirit compels and convicts you to come to the Father and go on the right road. He seizes the heart of man to bring them to Christ.
