It's a New Attitude!

With the start of a new year, we tend to look back over the last one and recall the good as well as the negative things we've all had to deal with, and one thing we need to keep in mind is to recognize that God is for us. He is for us, He wants to see His children prosper and grow in His Word.

Bro Smith gave us a list of 8 things we need to learn and say OUT LOUD this new year. Learn to recognize these things as coming from the Lord, and be aware of the tactics of the enemy. Satan is already defeated, but we must be winners by using the strength of God.

1)Proverbs 6:2 We can be snared by the words of our own mouth, and its not always outside influences, according to the Bible. Our words carry the power to free or ensnare us.

2) Ps 119:89 God's Word is settled in Heaven and on Earth, and it's settled forever. No debate on that. Say to yourself, "I am somebody in God, blood-bought, saved and worth something valuable in God's eyes. That won't change--ever.

3) Psalms 89:34 When the Lord goes into covenant, He will not break His own Word. Remember that even your best friend will break their word to you--when trouble comes, they will turn on you and save themselves. Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. When the trials come, say "I am in covenant with God".

4) Proverbs 4: 20-22 His words are life and health to those who find them. We need healing for more than just physical needs, we need help for old wounds, mental problems, soul ties, generational curses. We can say to the enemy "It stops with ME!" This nation needs families who have the Bible alive in them every day. We need to be fanatical about that Word! Saturate your life and world with it-read and consume it. You can have favor if you rebuke Satan, so the Lord can be your partner and promote you and the way you live your life to honor Christ.

5) Ps 119:25 The Word of God quickens, meaning 'makes alive'. We as humans are so close to death, but Satan cannot win against the Word of the Lord.

6) Luke 1:38 Mary said let it be unto me according to Thy Word. It is always easy for us to judge others but not so easy to see our own sins and shortcomings. We need to come to the foot of the Cross and have the Lord cleanse our own hearts and minds. He is the searcher of the heart.

7) Psalms 35:27 &38 Let the Lord be magnified. God wants us to be
