This is our final week of celebrating the month of March, traditionally known throughout the Church of God of Prophecy as World Mission Drive. As you no doubt have heard, this missions emphasis effort provides one of two annual opportunities in which to increase awareness and encourage investment in Mission Giving in support of our national leaders and mission nations.   On this last week of the March Mission Drive, I would like to express my personal and genuine gratitude for the response of our global family to this opportunity. We continue to be grateful for the presence and power of the Lord through this unique and anointed work of ministry.  We are also grateful for the positioning grace of faithful God and the sacrificial obedience of His people in response to this critical day in which we live. We also continue to be thankful for the generations of faithful men and women who have preceded us in these ministries. Touching Orphans Globally: Global Missions Month Week Four

We are continuing to celebrate the month of March, traditionally known throughout the Church of God of Prophecy as World Mission Drive. This missions emphasis effort provides one of two annual opportunities in which to invest in Mission Giving in support of our national leaders and mission nations. This week we look to an amazing opportunity for ministry to needy children. James 1:27 instructs us, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after ORPHANS and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Recent studies indicate that over 200 million children in developing countries under the age of five suffer from hunger, disease, and malnutrition. At least one-third of the world's children are touched by poverty. Every day, nearly 35,000 of them die. Imagine how difficult it must be for a little child to live constantly in hunger and under threat of disease. The One Child Fund ministry is designed to reach these children in the name of Jesus! This ministry continues to supply monthly orphanage support, education opportunities, construction efforts, and holiday celebrations to our children in the nations of Belarus, Bulgaria, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Mali, Myanmar, Nepal, Paraguay, Philippines, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Ukraine.
