PRAISE THE LORD FOR A GREAT SUNDAY LAST WEEK
WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER. THERE WERE 57 IN ATTENDANCE, THE ALTERS WERE FULL AND ONE SOUL SAVED. AFTER THE MORNING SERVICE WE WENT TO THE BAPTISMAL SERVICE AT 2PM. THREE PEOPLE WERE BAPTISED. JIMMY SMITH, SHIRLEY, AND BONNIE MARCUM. LATER ON THAT DAY AT 4PM WE ALL MET OVER AT FLATWOODS FLEA MARKET AND ENJOYED FOOD FUN AND FELLOWSHIP. WE ALSO PLAYED MUSIC AND WORSHIPED THE LORD ON THE BANDSTAND. THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED SOMEONE COUNTED 65 IN ATTENDANCE. WOW IT WAS AN AWESOME DAY!!! PLEASE REMEMBER WE WILL BE BACK IN THE CHURCH HOUSE LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 173 THIS SUNDAY AUGUST 28TH BRING A FRIEND.

In the afternoon of August 21, 2011, we met at the Flatwood Flea Market belonging to members Shirley and Jimmy Smith for a time of food and fellowship and music. There was a very large turn out, around 60 members enjoyed this gathering. Here are a few pictures.

AWESOME WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE

WE HAD ANOTHER GREAT SERVICE TONIGHT WE HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH THE STUDY "JOIN THE JOURNEY". THE LORD INSPIRED ME TO START SMALL GROUPS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS. SO A FEW WEEKS AGO WE TOOK OFF WITH ABOUT FIFTEEN OR SO PEOPLE. I AM SO THRILLED TO REPORT FOR THE LAST 3-WEEKS WE HAVE AVG 40 IN ATTENDANCE WITH NEW PEOPLE SHOWING UP EACH WEEK. I SEE GREAT THINGS AHEAD FOR WCFC PLEASE COME JOIN THE JOURNEY.
