Urgent Prayer Request!
Ronnie Cockrell has requested everyone to pray for a dear friend, a life-long friend Coy Martin, from Double Springs who attends the Pine Grove Church of God with his wife, Mary Ruth, and family. He is to go in for a heart defibulator on Friday of this week and it is a very serious procedure.
Ronnie was told by Coy tonight that if anything went wrong, he was prepared. We just love that man and want him here with us a while longer. We were blessed to be able to attend their 50th Anniversary the first of the year. There are no finer people in the world than they are.
Thank you for your prayers.

Revival at North Pointe COGOP in Fayette
Bro. Smith held a 4 day revival in Fayette last week. Hope you were able to attend some of the nights. They are truly blessed with great musical talent there also. Those folks are simply awesome!
Bro. Smith's message on the last night of the Revival spoke to the hearts of the people. Many people are hurt and offended in church and often by other Christians. God knows that hurt and He understands it and if you will come to the Father with your pain and brokeness, He can heal that hurt, and make you a vessel of honor to be used again.
Demons run rampant in our world today and they are focused in on you and I. They study each of us to find our weaknesses so they can attack us there. We must have a high degree of faith in the Lord to combat them and to stand against their assault.
The story of the woman with the alabaster box who washed Jesus' feet with her tears and poured out the ointment on Him is found in Luke 7. In Jewish tradition, they would bottle their tears~of joy and of sorrow~into a bottle. It was an heirloom container. To them it was everything. Jesus was weary and His feet were dirty when He came into the home of a Pharisee to eat. She poured out all her emotions, all the feelings of her life on Jesus, and He sent her away forgiven, in peace. This is a story we need to go back and read again and again in the last part of Luke Chapter 7. Jesus teaches a powerful lesson here to all of us.
After that service was over at the revival in Fayette on Saturday night, Bro Smith was invited to go eat with some of the church people there, and then, a man left the building and later returned and gave him money, saying, "I don't know why, but the Lord told me to give you this money to feed your family". That same afternoon a couple from our home church had invited them to have Sunday dinner with them after church the next day, and after that, my husband and I also asked Bro Smith to come to our house to eat lunch with us. He was so excited about all the offers, but his sweet daughter, Emily, told him "Daddy, I believe the Lord is getting ready to feed His church tomorrow". Praise the Lord! Out of the mouths of babes! She really did have a word of knowledge for us because the service we had on Sunday morning was just wonderful. We had a great alter service and added 4 new members to the church! What joy!!! God is so good!
Come be a part of this body, you will be welcomed and loved! God bless you!
