Here are the Ladies' Team of Teen Challenge. What awesome testimonies of lives torn apart by sin, then restored by the precious Blood of the Savior!!! Worthy, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain.

Aren't these two adorable kids precious? We sure think so. We have alot of sweet babies and they are our future!!! Praise the Lord for young lives being taught about the Love of God!

We have some great talent on our Praise Team. Randy Smith is on Bass, Bro. Smith on guitar, as well as Clay Dye and Ronnie Beasley. Austin Scott is doing an awesome job on guitar too. Joan Smith plays keyboard, and Mike Knight is song leader, along with Debbie Banta. There are several people who play the drums.

What a great day we had this Sunday with dramas and testimonies from the ladies of Teen Challenge! You really missed a treat if you weren't there~and a pretty decent spread. The families of WCFC outdid themselves on cooking this time. Looked like there was very little food left over.

Annointed Service

On August 15, 2010, WCFC moved out of the rented church and went to the Community Center for Sunday morning service, and what an anointed service it truly was! It was a few days after Bro. Jeff Norris was taken by a motorcycle wreck, and the whole town was in mourning. Janice McDaniel received a Word for New Life Fellowship-1 Samuel 7:12-"And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom." Bro. Smith also had a dream about Jeff and his brother Jerry. This Godly man left an awesome impact on this whole area, there is no doubt.

Beth had a Praise report from Bro. Randy Rye, that his illness that was feared to be the return of cancer was a stint that was clogged and he has been treated and is already much better! Praise God!!! Continue to pray for him.

Chris told about the co-worker who had a double-aneurysm is back to work and doing much better. Thank you, Lord!

Margi's cousin, David Goodwin and his wife were visiting and David sang and gave a powerful testimony about what the Lord has done in his life. He was supernaturally delivered from self-condemnation and he learned that it's all about Jesus. It truly IS all about Jesus Christ-that is the mystery of the Gospel.

That service was amazing!! The Holy Spirit took over. People were healed and the Spirit moved on anyone who was open to His move. How wonderful to witness the Power of God and when you experience the presence of our Loving Father, your life is forever changed.

Bro. Smith has been teaching us about Strongholds. 2 Cor 10:3-5. In all our thoughts, submit them to Christ so that He may help us to throw off the mindset of hopelessness and feeling there is no way out, or through whatever we face. That is a lie from Satan because He already told us He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!

We had two ladies of our church who performed a song Sunday Morning. Janice McDaniel and Lou Carter have gotten together and played and sang "Higher Ground". Here are a couple of pictures from Sunday.

I heard an interesting story recently about how the Church of Satan operates.

Some time ago, a lady who was a former member of the Satanic Church talked about the training tactics of these rulers of darkness. They would send members into a church to listen to the preacher and hear the music then deliberately harden their hearts so that they could never be converted to the Gospel. They would "sear" their conscience, in other words.

The only kind of church they could not go were the Spirit-filled, true Gospel-proclaiming churches that were teaching real, Holy Spirit experiences, liberty, faith and victory through the name of Jesus Christ! She stated that the Satanic Church had lost more people by going to these places where they got saved and delivered from demonic possession, and they can't mess around with them.

Seems the devil is just fine with anyone going to a church that has a form of Godliness as long as there is no power there.

Who Needs Peace?

There is true peace if Jesus is in the midst.

We should pray that our mind is as a sponge, soaking up truth and like a sieve, filtering out the untruth.

John 20:19 Jesus said, "Peace be unto you." Christ can speak peace to the storms of life. Is. 26:3 Keep your mind on Him, not on earthly things. When you can't bear the burden, cast it on Him, for He cares for you. He can handle your problems. Have no fear, have Jesus' peace, not of this world. God is the Creator and you are part of His Body, put exactly where He placed you to be for a reason. Perhaps that reason is to help someone else.

The Lord doesn't need your ability, He needs your availability!!! Ever think of it like that? (Don't we have an awesome pastor and teacher of the Word?) It seems like we want to either go full~steam ahead or not go at all. We are like a glove that can do nothing without POWER inside it. We need His power and annointing to accomplish anything.

The world~famous evangelist Reinhart Boenke said he told the Lord that he was simply humbled to be chosen to reach the world with the Gospel. God said to his spirit, "you are My third choice". Imagine! God is looking for someone who will stand in the gap for lost souls. Ez 22:30. His anger is reduced if He can find one who will be willing to make up the hedge. Today we can put God in remembrance of His own Word. Can we correct an Almighty God? Yes, with His own Word. If we aren't being used, it's because we're not involved enough with the Lord.

John 20:22 says Jesus breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit. There is much God said about 'breathing' in the scriptures. On the day of Pentecost, there came a sound of a mighty rushing wind. In Gen 2:7 God breathed into man the breath of life, and he became a living soul. Ps 33:6 'the host of them by the breath of His mouth.' The valley of dry bones was witness to the great miracle when God called to the four winds and breathed upon those slain that they lived! The Bible records that they stood, an exceeding great army!!!

The word 'inspiration' means "God Breathed". Jesus and only Jesus gives us joy, peace, and usefulness. Nothing will be accomplished without Christ being involved. The most important thing we can do is to ask the Lord to direct our steps, to listen and hear from the Father. The best way is the written Word and we would do well to remember that the spoken Word is always verified by the written Word.

What's Happening Here at WCFC

Please take note that the church will once again be moving out for one Sunday, August 15th to the Community Center. As you know, the Beasley Family own the building and they host a twice~annual Fa So La Singing, so that means we need to be organizing a church~wide cleaning day and plan to help vacate the building while this is going on. If we take down our equipment, that means we have to set up equipment at the CC.

The Beasleys also have the singing in December. We want the church property to be in topnotch condition at all times, but especially when the owners are back here. It really is a great time of fellowship and service as we work, and there is a job to be done by any and all who will commit time and energy to help. Since we usually follow up the work with a dinner, it does make it a fun and worthwhile time.

Also, keep in mind the Kairos Ministry that Bro. Mike Knight and Bro. Todd Scott are involved in at the prison in Hamilton. There is a part we all can play to help these dedicated men and that's to bake cookies for the ministry. Copies of appropriate recipes and other instructions are available in the foyer of the church. Mike asks that you bake cookies with love and prayer. Most of us will never know what they do to help the prisoners there and the impact their sacrifice makes on those lives. If one man recieves the Lord as Savior, there is a ripple effect going out to so many people. God help us help them as they work with this ministry.

We have been blessed to welcome a new family to our church, Chris and Sara, and their 4 sweet kids, Natalie, Natashia, Noah and Nadia. Chris is a fantastic Sunday School teacher and we want them to know how much we enjoy having them with us. It's great to have Ray and Melba with us too.

FC is still a small church but already there have been many lives changed in this local area. We have a Food Ministry, Youth Ministry, Vacation Bible School and Youth Camp. Jesus commanded us to reach out to people and to do His will. This October, Winfield City Family Church will be 3 years old!!! Praise the Lord for what He has done!
