Friday night 6:00 p.m. and

Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for vocalist & musicians who are interested.

Praise God for His many blessings upon us!!



We had a great Sunday morning Service with 30 in attendence, with a new family in attendence also!!



We are all amazed at what God has done for us & what He is going to do in our lives'.

Ps 117:22 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.(KJV)

Sunday Dec 23

Praise God! We had a attendance of 31, and 4 new visitors.

Best of all, a young man accepted salvation Sunday morning!

Rom 10:9

Later we celebrated Christmas dinner together , for the first time in our fellowship hall downstairs. The ladies & gentlemen prepared a wonderful feast! Thank you !!!

New church building!

We would like to thank the Beasley family for the use of the church building.

God is GREAT! Joan's testimony

Yes! He has done it again---amazed us all!

Our theme or subtitle to this blog has been "All things are possible with God", which has came to pass again.

Let me tell you the details, about what God has done for us & how He works in mysterious ways!

We have been meeting in Winfield Recreational Building since October. We have been looking , searching actually for a building we could use on a more permanent basis through the week. This is so we wouldn't have to set up, then break down equipment, before & after service each Sunday. Also we had a set time to be in & out each Sunday. Everything we found to rent was out of our financial range at the moment.

Now, let me tell you a little about my back ground. I was born again when I was 19 years old ( about 19 years ago). I knew in my heart that God was real & he had changed my life FOREVER! However, I had been raised Primitive Baptist ( this certain group did not believe in the born again experience & was very strict upon the teaching of predestination). So my Father was very upset with me to say the least.

Matt 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.(KJV)

Matt 10:38-39 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.(KJV)

So anyway, I have been having the same repetitive dream through the last 19 or so years, which at the time seemed so impossible ( I've had this dream about 3 or 4 times in which I told Brother Dewayne about at the time & we dismissed as unusual but nothing more).

I would dream that we were in the little Primitive Baptist church house, with the hard wood floors, the pews all lined up on the sides in the front facing the speaker, and long rows on each side when you came through the entrance. Except it was a spiritual service like we have in the Church of God. And the building was FULL!

Now, back to the original story. We have been looking for a building to have church in.... Brother Todd Scott was going to work one day & took a short cut & turned around & there it was, an empty church house.. Well, Brother Todd knew the people next door & asked about the building & they said they might rent it to us. So an appointment was made to meet Friday night with the Trustee.

Brother Dewayne , Brother Todd, & I met with the Trustee that night. As I walked in the building I knew this was the place. I was trying not to get too excited about the place. It was a primitive Baptist church, with the hard wood floors, pews lined up the same, just like my dream. I didn't even realize it at the time , but I just leaped in my spirit! God is sooo Good!

Sunday night Dec 9

The Fayette Church of God of Prophecy invited us (Winfield Church) to be with them Sunday night for their Christmas banquet. Brother Lowery prepared Bar-b-que for the whole crowd.

Youth director Sister Stephanie Lowery organized a very good service, to the theme" Following in His footsteps". We all had a wonderful time!

Special thank you to Brother Leland & Sister Gail for their friendship!

We had a great week & a glorious Sunday! Praise God for His blessings!

We had 23 in attendance & 3 new visitors this week. God is GOOD!

Oh!! I have a testimony.....But I must wait to tell you the whole story later. God definitely
works in mysterious ways.

Please be in much prayer for our church. We think we may have a empty church building in the city limits of Winfield that we may can rent.

Please pray for God's will. We have been meeting at the community center at each Sunday, but if we can rent a building we could expand our scope of ministry for God. It is in His Hands.

Mark 10:2727 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.(KJV)

Home group meetings successful!!

Praise the Lord!

This week was the beginning of our home meetings, we met twice, once at Carol Beard's home Tuesday night with 14 in attendance, then at Beth Smith's home Friday Night with 22 in attendance.

God's Spirit was among us in a real way! We prayed, sang, & worshiped in the Word of God together. People wept before God's presence. Thank you LORD for everything you've done already!!!

God is doing something Wonderful in Winfield Alabama. People are being delivered form drugs, & alcohol addiction, among other things. People's lives are being restored!

Prayers are being answered instantly!!!
2 Chr 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.(KJV)
